hello,
please see file attachment.
in data model have two query for employes,departments
in paper layout have two separate layout(a layout for query employes and another layout for query department).
for example in format trigger of parent frame of lay_emp==> return(false);
In this case,with execute report, Output 1 will have.
in output1 have a place empty of lay_emp and this is Not-so-good.
if i not want this place empty and i want frame of lay_dep go up(see output2),Is there a way?
tanks

Try to set vertical elasticity of LAY_EMP (which is sometimes empty) to variable (or contract).

Thank you for your answer.
This property can be set by code(run time)?

Check SRW built-in package in Report's Help. If you can do that, you'll use one of its procedures.

Though, why would you want to do that? Set the property now, while designing the report.

Because each Layout display is based on an input parameter.

It doesn't matter. Format trigger takes care about it (as it returns a Boolean) so the frame will (or will not) be displayed. Elasticity, I hope, will help with extra space left when there's nothing to display, and that's something you just don't have to set dynamically.

I don't understand the question.

Different problems have different solutions; why would the answer given in this topic fit ALL questions (if that's what "always" means)?
