Anybody using Oracle8 on OS/390 with Oracle Applications R11.0.3 under NT (or maybe Unix)?
We are trying to set up APPS Workflow Monitor login, but it keeps failing with "Your login is invalid. Please login again." SSWA (Self-Services for Web Applications) login does work, however.
We have come to the conclusion that the problem has to do with the UTL_HTTP.REQUEST procedure; when the OS/390 database server attempts to call this to ship a URL to our Apps Web Server (or to anywhere else, for that matter), a PL/SQL exception is triggered.
E.g., when we do "SELECT UTL_HTTP.REQUEST(anyURL) FROM DUAL" we get:
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-06510: PL/SQL: unhandled user-defined exception
ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_HTTP", line 150
ORA-06512: at line 1
From TSO, however, we can ping our Web Server.
We can also reach it through telnet; when we do a "GET / HTTP/1.0", we see the Web Server Home page fly by.
So, it looks like the OS/390 TCP/IP stack is functioning OK.
Any ideas what may be wrong? Does the database need any special configuration that we may have missed?
TIA for any info!
