We want to write some generic interface routines to Oracle
in a high level language. These routines must be re-entrant.
We have attempted this with PLI and discovered that the
pre-compiler does not generate re-entrant code.

1) Does anyone know whether any of the other precompilers
such as C or COBOL generate re-entrant code?

2) Are the Oracle run-time routines re-entrant?

Thanks.
